The Yorkshire Elvis Festival is back by popular demand at Magna on Saturday 5th October 2019…. Back for the second year, this event will take you on a journey of Elvis’ life with some of the best Elvis Presley tribute artists in Europe.
This unique event is set to be an amazing day and night, celebrating the life of one of the most significant cultural icons of the 20th century, the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll.
Doors open at 1pm till 12.30am. The show kicks off at 2pm starting with some of his best Rock ‘n’ Roll songs, followed by his greatest hits, gospel and movies. Taking you into the night where it all began at the Sun Recording Studios, Ed Sullivan Show, before heading to the Pearl Harbour Charity Concert. Then going Down in the Jungle Room to the 68 Comeback Special to That’s The Way it is. Before going Aloho from Hawaii and finishing off with his Vegas special!
The Yorkshire Elvis Festival also includes:
- Open Mic sessions
- Prize for the Best Dressed Elvis
- Raffle for two local charities – Daniel Arts Barnett and The Princess Alexia Fund
- Memorabilia stalls
Seating on tables are unreserved so available on a first come first served basis. Tickets are valid for all day entry so please feel free to come and go throughout the day. Food and drinks are available and all drinks are at pub prices. Please note that Magna is a non-smoking venue, including the use of vaporised cigarettes.
So, put on your Blue Suede Shoes, get ready to dance and sing along to The King’s massive catalogue of hits.
