BeVox@Magna was a celebration of the first year's work for BeVox, a network of amateur choirs.
With 120 singers taking part, video projections, a custom-built stage, live video cameras interspersed with film, animation, backing tracks and soloists, this was a highly technical show.
The day included a technical rehearsal, two shows and an after-show party (with a live band).
BeVox likes to bring music to the public in interesting and unusual ways, which is why we chose to stage a concert in Magna's Face of Steel. The unique nature of the space presented so many possibilities and inspired creative ways of thinking about staging a choral concert. The end of result was exceptional quality - and was a testament to the hard work that the events and technical teams put in.
